'The Knight & The Thief' - Storyboard Pro, Blender

From a simple script reworked into a narrative with meaning and character, this was an arduous process that spanned many months. In the pictures below you can see stills from the final version plus some stills from previous versions that have been either reworked or scratched out of the project.

A project created with the mentorship of John Keane for the course of Storyboarding from the Eat Your Peas platform.

In this story, a loyal knight catches a thief in the act — only to discover a ghost from their own past.

A darkly funny take on a seemingly normal suburban family who are secretly vampires wrestling with bloodlust, identity, and family secrets.

The Radleys

In this project, I chose an excerpt from a favorite book of mine and translated it to an audiovisual format - imagining what the scene would be like visually - using my cinematographic repertoire.

The scene chosen was the inciting incident.
CONTEXT: Clara, the couple's daughter, accidentally kills a boy in self-defense. She bit and sucked his blood but, as she had never tasted blood before, she ended up going too far. She calls her parents, desperate, and they go after her to help, not knowing someone is following them. The storyboard starts from there.

In this project, I chose an excerpt from a favorite book of mine and translated it to an audiovisual format - imagining what the scene would be like visually - using my cinematographic repertoire.

The scene I chose is a childhood flashback to the siblings Lydia and Nathan Lee. It's summer 1967 and their mother has just left them and they don't know what to do. Nathan (7) decides to leave the house and venture into the lake on the other side of the neighborhood. Lydia (5) follows him but cannot swim.

'Superman vs. Captain America' - Storyboard Pro

Focused on staging and camera, the prompt is Superman has coffee with Captain America. I turned it into a political banter between them. Below is the full animatic. (Lesson 02 from Sergio Paez's StoryboardArt course).
